What products are sold at the outlet?

The Balsam Hill Outlet sells returned and open-box items at deep discounts. You’ll find seasonal décor along with our lifelike artificial Christmas trees, wreaths, garlands, and more. Inventory varies throughout the year when the outlet is open to the public, with new inventory added weekly.

What do I need to know about buying my tree at the outlet?

Outlet merchandise may have been returned from a photo shoot, a stage set, or from a customer who decided they wanted a tree with a different look or fullness.

Because the products sold at the outlet are returned, we do not guarantee availability of all products that are offered for sale online. Items that are not in stock at the outlet, but are available online, can be ordered when you visit the outlet, at the online price, less a 5% discount. Any online orders will be shipped directly to you.We are unable to hold or ship merchandise purchased at the outlet. They must be taken home the day they are purchased. We do not offer shipping.

Can I call and reserve a tree to pick up later at the outlet?

We are unable to hold trees for later pickup. Please come in to see the selection of trees that are available, as it changes throughout the season. If we don’t have the tree in stock that you have your heart set on, our staff will work with you to find a similar tree.

Do you accept coupons from BalsamHill.com at the outlet?

We don’t accept coupons from BalsamHill.com at the outlet. If you buy an online item while you are at the outlet, we will honor any valid BalsamHill.com coupon, or provide a 5% discount, whichever is greater. We do not combine discounts.

What is the return policy for the outlet?

• Many of the trees, wreaths, and garlands sold at our outlet stores are returns, floor demos, or review models often returned without ever being taken out of the box. You may return or exchange these items within 8 days of purchase (or by December 25, whichever comes first), but they are not covered by our warranty.
• Sales are final for all other items (not trees, wreaths, or garlands)—no returns, no warranty.
• If you buy a new tree at the outlet, you get the same protections as if you bought it at BalsamHill.com. You may return or exchange the tree within 30 days of purchase or before December 25. This applies to new trees only.

What type of payment options do you offer at the outlet?

We accept credit and debit cards from Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, as well as Apple Pay. We do not accept personal checks or cash.

Does the outlet offer troubleshooting services for my tree?

• We don’t offer troubleshooting for any Balsam Hill merchandise at the outlet
